Job Readiness Simulations for Young Engineers from Öksüt Mining: Simulations Are Now Available in Partnership with Ludi!
At Öksüt Mining, we continue to strengthen our approach to sustainable mining through technology and education. By bringing the field experience that young talents need as they prepare for professional life into the digital world, we have launched interactive job simulations developed in partnership with Ludi.
Thanks to these online simulations, it is now possible to experience engineering practices in mining, process, and geotechnical processes on a digital platform, in accordance with professional standards.
As part of this partnership—the first of its kind in Turkey’s mining sector—more than 500 engineering students and recent graduates have participated in the simulations since the project’s inception. Currently, the platform features three modules: geotechnical, process, and mining and geology. Participants complete real-world tasks such as interpreting field data, experiencing meeting dynamics, and becoming familiar with interdepartmental coordination processes. Occupational health and safety is a mandatory component of every module. The platform is accessible for free via a QR code or direct link, with no installation required. The time required to complete the simulations ranges from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the module.
We’ve also launched our fourth new module designed for the role of Exploration Geologist. Just like our previous modules, we developed it in collaboration with our technical teams using real-world work scenarios. Stay tuned for more new modules!
