At Öksüt Mining, we are taking significant steps in the field of energy management and reinforcing our commitment by obtaining the ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification in 2024. We adopt an approach that effectively utilizes energy resources and aims to reduce environmental impacts; we create efficient production processes with digital energy monitoring systems, low-energy consumption equipment, and modern automation technologies.

Furthermore, we focus on achieving maximum efficiency in our operations through energy-efficient lighting, optimization of motor systems, and heat recovery projects. With this energy efficiency-centered approach, we continuously strengthen our understanding of sustainable production.

At Öksüt Mining, we are implementing comprehensive measures to reduce our carbon footprint. In addition to energy efficiency studies and waste management practices, we aim to minimize our environmental impact through the use of highly efficient fuels, a transition to renewable energy sources, and technologies that ensure low carbon emissions.

We are resolutely moving towards carbon neutrality through practices such as reforestation projects, air quality monitoring systems, and the use of low-emission vehicles. In line with this vision, we aim to meet our electricity consumption entirely from renewable sources by 2025, and in this context, we are complying with international standards through our I-REC certification.
