At Öksüt, we place great importance on establishing multifaceted interactions with universities and young talent, and on sustainably developing these connections. Through our “Öksüt on Campus” and “Öksüt in the Field” programs, we aim to contribute to students’ career journeys.
During the 2025–2026 period, we brought together university students and faculty members through 5 “Öksüt on Campus” events and 3 “Campus in the Field” technical tours.
As part of the “Öksüt on Campus” events, we met with students at Hacettepe University, Istanbul Technical University, Çukurova University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. At these events, organized with the participation of our Human Resources and technical teams, we shared our approach to sustainable mining, our career opportunities, and our young talent programs, while also introducing our simulations on the Ludi Platform. Sharing our experiences with the students and answering their questions about their career journeys was extremely valuable to us.
We extended this interaction, which began on campus, to the production site through our “Campus in the Field” program. By hosting students and faculty members from Middle East Technical University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, and Istanbul University at our Öksüt site, we provided them with the opportunity to experience our occupational health and safety practices, technical processes, and environment-focused work approach firsthand.
Through these programs, students not only had the chance to meet with industry professionals but also gained the opportunity to get an up-close look at Öksüt’s work culture and gain hands-on field experience. We remain committed to contributing to the development of young talent and supporting the mining professionals of the future.
