Our commitment is to respect the values, rights, cultures, and traditions of local communities and indigenous groups in the regions where we operate.
Our Social Responsibility Projects
Within the framework of “Corporate Social Responsibility” and “Community Development” principles, we believe that mining activities are a positive force supporting the social and economic development of host communities.
With this goal in mind, we carry out projects that contribute to social benefit and development in cooperation with official institutions and organizations, civil society organizations, and the local population. We are aware that social licensing is a critical factor for success and sustainability.

Social Responsibility Policy
We are committed to identifying social risks in advance and preparing for crises by establishing communication based on trust and openness with the local community. We adopt a transparent and inclusive approach that respects human rights in all our activities. We carry out social responsibility projects that consider the needs of women, children, and vulnerable groups. Our goal is to leave lasting and positive contributions to the region after mining operations. In this context, we regularly evaluate our public relations performance and contribute to community sustainability.
Public Health
In line with our goal of contributing to public health, we donated an MRI machine to Develi Dr. Ekrem Karakaya State Hospital.
This device, which benefits not only the residents of Develi but also those from Yahyalı, Tomarza, and Yeşilhisar districts, facilitates early diagnosis and detection in the region. It also supports one of the first centers in Turkey providing services to autistic individuals over the age of 13, contributing to their physical and mental development.

Projects with Women as the Subject
Through our inclusive projects, we contribute to the greater inclusion of women in social and economic life. We believe that women add value to life and are pioneers of change in many areas. We value and support women’s increased participation in business life, the improvement of their working conditions, and the protection of their rights. Based on this, we call all our initiatives “Projects with Women as the Subject,” and we are implementing various projects in cooperation with many public and civil society organizations in Develi to support women entrepreneurs.
The Success Story of the Women Producers Development Project
The Women Producers Development Project is a joint initiative of the Develi District Governorship, Develi Municipality, and Öksüt Mining, aiming to support women producers in the Develi district. The project provides women with a platform to sell their food products, including vegetables, fruits, dairy products, baked goods, homemade foods, and handicrafts, in a hygienic and inclusive environment. Gacer Cafe, named after a local wheat variety, provides women with a comfortable and hygienic space to sell their products.
The project’s goal is to empower women entrepreneurs and promote job creation, giving them a significant position in the regional or local economy. We recognize that women’s participation in the workforce and entrepreneurial activities is essential for a developing economy, and this project aims to provide employment and economic freedom for women in the district. We also aim to increase the visibility of practices supporting women entrepreneurs by setting a positive example in the region.
The Women Producers Development Project has made significant progress in a short time, leaving a profound mark on the lives of our women producers.
