Our Journey & Our Vision
In line with Centerra Gold’s vision of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, we embarked on our journey to create a “respectful and inclusive workplace culture” in 2020. Throughout this process, we listened to our employees’ opinions, benefited from international collaborations, and continuously improved our inclusive practices.

Our Strategic Goals
Inclusivity Committee
Diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility are at the core of our success. To strengthen our efforts in this area, we have established Inclusion Committees at both the global and regional levels. Regional committees adapt global strategies to local needs, while our committee members and brand ambassadors play an active role in raising awareness, identifying needs, and implementing projects. Together, we are learning, growing, and moving forward toward a more inclusive future.
Equal Opportunity
We support greater representation of women in the workforce and in leadership roles. In this context:
- We are a member of International Women in Mining (IWiM) and a Silver sponsor.
- Every year, we participate in the International Women in Resources Mentorship Program (IWRMP) together with our mentors and mentees.
- We are taking concrete steps to increase women’s participation in the workforce and to promote inclusive practices throughout all our processes.
Women’s Representation in Öksüt
At Öksüt Mining, the percentage of female employees is 15%, while in senior management this figure is 16%. These figures exceed both national and international averages and strongly reflect the value we place on diverse perspectives, equal opportunities, and strong female leadership.
